AL.com Donates Books for National Library Week

library donationAL.com donated more than 240 books valued at $5,000  to the Birmingham Public Library on behalf of Alabama Media Group’s book publishing company, Advance Central Services. The donation was presented live on Fox 6 WBRC in Birmingham, Alabama during National Library Week.

“It is so important that we find external funds and supporters in the community,” said Angela Fisher Hall, Director of the Birmingham Public Library. “AL.com has been a wonderful partner for us during the last two years.”

$2.00 from every Birmingham’s Best Bites book sold online and in stores throughout the country will go back to the Birmingham Public Library. Books can be ordered online at www.ALonlinestore.com.
