Top Nurses 2020 Event Recap

On Thursday Sept. 24, Alabama Media Group hosted the Top Nurses event where 50 nurses from around the state were honored for their fierce dedication to their careers.

“I thought it was very well done and enjoyed watched from home,” said BCBS of Alabama Sales & Marketing Event Coordinator Carrie Thomas. “Congratulations to not only all of the award winners, but to you and your team!”

“It was a beautiful event and it was an honor to be a part of it,” said DCH Health System HR Director Lori Royer Summers. “I’m sure it will grow each year.”

In addition to 80 in-person attendees, the event was simultaneously live-streamed on This is Alabama’s Facebook page. Overall more than 4,000 viewed the event. 180 VIP swag boxes were sent to virtual viewers with Top Nurses branded swag, masks and items from our sponsors.
